BRING WARMTH

BRIANMBRODIE.COM

Bring warmth to someone who is cold. Keep in mind that while you are attempting to do what is right, not everyone will appreciate the light and warmth that you provide. Just as a person in the desert may wish to blame the sun for his uncomfortable situation, so will an unhappy person attempt to blame you for their problems instead of seeing that you are providing light and warmth to help them on their path

TRANSFORMATION

My Grandmother taught me that it is not what you have for things or money that is important, but what you choose to do with the things or money that you have. It is not how much you have, but how much you give of yourself to share, contribute, love, cultivate, encourage, mentor, and motivate. It is about how much enjoyment you can realize from the simple things in life that will transform that moment of time into a reward worth treasuring. It’s the moment of holding a new born baby, petting a puppy, seeing the sun brighten your day, or extending a word of kindness to someone who does not deserve it. It is about knowing that everything can be used for good or evil. Knowing that, you will still choose to do what is right and exercise good intention, with the awareness that the beneficiary of your effort may not know or appreciate your kindness until long after you are gone

Home is your place to get away from the rest of the world – a place to make forever memories with the ones that you love – a place to eat, play, share, receive comfort, and to find protection – a place to awaken in the light of a beautiful sunrise anticipating what the day will bring – a place to recall the experience in the glow of the sun set – a place to count the stars and shoot for the moon – a place we call home no matter what it is made of, or where it is located – for it is your home, your place to get away from the rest of the world – These are some of my favorite sun pictures that I took with my cell phone over the past few years from my home and my thoughts with some lessons from the generations before me – I normally take thousands of pictures each year of various subject matter and I may provide some of them in the future either here or on one my other web sites.
